I know the RV is preferred-but anything wrong with using regular quondam greenish stuff tuckered out of trucks? Hard on pumps or seals anything?

Got 50 gallon of that laying around trying to figure out how to dispose-may also "store" some in the sprayer if it won't hurt anything.

All I use. Usually dump in extra gallon of directly to brand sure. Green has some lubricant in it and seems to go along seals from drying out. Never had problem using it. redblooded

That'due south where fifty get rid of my used antifreeze, I 'store' information technology in my sprayer, lol.
Works proficient for me. Never demand to pay to get rid of it that way!!

My Deere dealer uses RV antifreeze to winterize sprayers. They always run an inspection/winterize special. And so at least one dealer thinks RV is the product to employ. CIH-JD

I accept no issues with RV anti-freeze, used information technology on literally several hundred sprayers over the 15 years I worked on sprayers, just sayin that the green stuff is what Deere used at the manufactory, I but have a real problem with using 28% or leaving it dry, dry lets the residue in the system dry out and flake off which tends to plug tips, 28% is mode to corrosive. We used green antifreeze diluted down (well diluted here) for many years before nosotros went to windshield washer fluid. I still would if it wasn't so expensive.

m We starting using used antifreeze this year. We blow all lines with air first, put antifreeze in and run to booms, then blow it all out again I put a valve for air after the pump but earlier boom solenoids.
